Fedora and 2.6.24.3-12 kernel
This week I ran yum on my Fedora 8 machine and one of the updates available was a new kernel. Ok, fine, so it updated all packages and installed the new kernel and I gave it a reboot. But no normal boot showed up. The kernel crashed while booting.
Playing with Xen
This weekend I tried to play around with virtualization under Linux, using Xen. For now you only get screenshots, as I didn’t get things working yet. Too busy, not enough time to find things out, etc…. you know how things go…
Fedora 9 Alpha again
Since Fedora 9 Alpha didn’t want to install on Virtual PC and I was quite curious to it, I decided to install it on one of my workstations. And this worked out fine
Fedora 9 Alpha
Today Fedora 9 Alpha was released and I was very curious to it, so I downloaded it immediately and created a new Virtual Machine on Microsoft Virtual PC. But my first experience wasn’t a very good one.
Webalizer and virtual hosts
A very commonly used statstics program for the Apache webserver is the webalizer program that analizes httpd log-files and creates site statistics from that. But standard it’s configured for only one domain. As I am running multiple domains on my RedHat Enterprise Linux machine and want seperate statistics for them, some work had to be done.
